If you love to travel, here’s a chance to win free tour tickets

I’m not very good at contests, but here’s one I’ve signed up for: a chance to win 4 Sightseeing Tour tickets from “Trusted Tours and Attractions” in one of 21 cities. All you need to do is sign up for their monthly “eNewsletter.” You can sign up right here. The newsletter offers monthly travel tips, links to travel blogs, travel related articles, and money saving offers — and did I mention you might win 4 free tour tickets? You get to select the city you’re interested in winning tour tickets for when you sign up. (There’s a December 14 signup deadline to be entered for the free tickets.)

When I signed up, I chose Savannah, Georgia. As a history buff, I find the city intriguing. I’ve never been there, yet, but I have high hopes. I’ve read about Savannah, about the city’s elegance and long history dating back to its founding in 1733. It was the first colonial and state capital of Georgia.

The Trusted Tours and Attractions folks have several Old Town Trolley tours in Savannah that look interesting. I was looking around the tour site and noticed one that sounds like special fun — the “Ghosts and Gravestones Tour of Savannah.” According to the website, Savannah has been dubbed “America’s Most Haunted City.” No, I don’t believe in ghosts — and I have no idea whether ghosts believe in me. But it does sound like a fun way to see some of Savannah. That particular tour lasts over an hour and takes you to the Sorrel Weed House, a real antebellum mansion which was recently featured on SCIFI Channel’s “Ghost Hunters” program.

Check out the Trusted Tours and Attractions website. Sign up for their monthly eNewsletter and you could win some free tour tickets to your chosen city.

You know, San Diego looks good to me too …
