I am 70 and don't understand it. But I do have my ideas why the double in ten years in peanut allergies.Say 15 years ago or so people with children with peanut alergies got the band wagon going to not allow kids to bring peanut butter to school etc.My thought is by doing this the kids were not able to build up a immunity to it by having smaller amounts when young and slowly work up as they age. What happened way back then, is the squeeky wheel got the oil.Its too bad as peanut butter is now considered one of the perfect foods. Its to bad because the kids are missing out (in my world) on one of the neccesities in life , the other being catsup. Oh for the simpler times.
