Got a student who wants to travel? Here’s a useful site for educational tours
Back in the days when I was in high school -- so long ago that we used wax slates and styluses for our homework -- I would have thought I had died and gone to heaven if my academic record, family situation, finances, and all the other factors fell into place for me to take one of the student tours offered by this afternoon's "Useful Website," Hemisphere Educational Travel.
They offer a wide variety of educational travel junkets in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe. They are associated with several travel organizations and student organizations. The website has a nice, easy-to-browse setup to help you view all their offerings. They also have an excellent FAQ section addressing any concerns you may have about travel security for your students. The website also says they've been around 37 years (not QUITE long enough to have been there for me when I was in high school after all). If you're a student looking for an educational trip, a teacher looking to recommend such trips, or a parent wanting to send your student(s) on such trips -- go take a look at Hemisphere Educational Travel.
