Enough politics and mad science — clear your mind and let’s journey to a beautiful Canadian resort
When I was a younger man, I made a couple of trips to Vancouver, British Columbia, and I regret that I've never had the opportunity to visit more of Canada. But perhaps I will soon -- and what better place to start than this beautiful year-round resort getaway: "Blueberry Lake Resort," in the Mont Tremblant Canada region of Quebec.
If you're suffering the mid-winter blahs/blues like I am, if you're already tired of presidential politics, and if you're ready willing and able to spend your share of that economic stimulus package even before you get it -- let's go. I'll meet you there. (*Sigh*, unfortunately my wife says no, we can't get away right now.)
Seriously, look around the Blueberry Lake Resort website. What a gorgeous looking place. It's near several rivers and lakes, specializes terrific Canadian mountain and woodland scenery, and has a nice selection of special tour/rental packages all year around.
I confess Canada has a special place in my heart as one of those countries I would seriously consider moving to if I could. What a great place this looks like to visit.
Let's see, on foot from southwest Missouri to Quebec would be about ... that works out to ...
